Terms of Use

Clear rules about what Veil VPN provides, how subscriptions work, and what you agree to when using the service.

TL;DR

Veil VPN is an auto-renewing subscription service. Payments are handled by Apple/Google. Don't use Veil for illegal stuff. The service is provided "as is" — we work hard to keep it reliable, but cannot guarantee perfection.

1Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Myxa Studio ("Veil", "we", "us") governing your use of the Veil VPN app and website (the "Service"). By downloading, accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

3Subscriptions, billing & renewals

Auto-renewing subscriptions. Veil is offered as an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Renewal. Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period remains active until it ends.
Free trials (if offered) automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies; we do not directly process payments or refunds.
Price changes will be communicated in advance and take effect on your next renewal; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

4Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe others' rights;
Send spam, distribute malware, or attack, probe or disrupt any network or system;
Access, transmit or distribute illegal content, including child sexual abuse material;
Infringe intellectual property or engage in unauthorized data scraping;
Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent;
Circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service's security.

You are responsible for complying with the laws of your own jurisdiction regarding VPN use.

5Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos and content, is owned by Myxa Studio and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding.

6Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.

7Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Myxa Studio and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

8Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or to comply with law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. intellectual property, disclaimers, liability) will continue to apply.

9Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.

10Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Effective date" above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
